hello there.

at this moment i'm completing AnimationMentor.com's character animation program, and i pay the bills teaching in the english dept. at Ringling College of Art and Design. my time at Ringling has been extremely valuable for my growth as an artist. i'm certain i've learned as much from my students there as i have been able to teach them.

and what can i say about AnimationMentor. the place is amazing. the future of education.

my passion for animation is rooted in my passion for storytelling. and it just so happens that i believe animated film to be the most powerful vehicle for story. (of course plain-ol' filmmaking comes close to matching, but cannot compete with the control animated filmmakers have.) beyond this, animation is an artform that hits on all cylinders regarding what's appealing in desgin and entertainment. how could i stay away!
